Arnold expo!

All kinds of things happen at The Arnold Festival which is happening this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. This was the fourth time that I attended the expo. Each time I am less impressed. I used to be in awe like a little kid seeing Lou Ferigno (hulk), Frank Zane, Ronny Coleman, jay Cutler, Jamie Eason, and of course Arnold. Two years ago during the beginning of the pump and run I gave Arnold 5/shook his hand. Today he walked by me and was probably 2-3 feet away and all I wanted to do was for Arnold to go on by so I could find the ISSA table to place a lead box at. The guys do not seem as big to me anymore, the girls do not seem as attractive, and I do not really care about all the free bs supplements. Yes I still got supplements but then again I still have some left over from last year. Unlike a lot of people I realize that a crappy diet plus supplements is still a crappy diet.

The things I liked that happend today are I placed a lead box at the ISSA table, obtained a coupon code for the CSCS preparation and test which will save me about $400, met a plastic surgeon in Dublin who is on board for a plastic gift card promotion, and met a man who works for a Columbus magazine. Also today I sent Eversave an email about pushups for charity. Next up make my pushups for charity website, contact local police, fire, and every media outlet in the Columbus area. After that contact businesses to donate prizes to top competitors, watch the rest of my fit body boot camp videos, play around with Izigg text autoresponders, figure out the ins and outs of my volo software, go through the irainmaker tutorials, order signs for pushups for charity and Jackhammer Strength Training, get car decals, hang two more banners in facility, schedule more networking events, contact more businesses that have had recent online coupons, get more clients, train more people, over deliver, help people improve their lives, have my assisstant start training, and take a much needed vacation.

On another note yesterday I hex bar deadlifted 405. It had been a while. Muscle memory is amazing! Today I benched 255 for 3 easy reps. I think the planks, swings, and presses are making me a little stronger.

Faveroo and the real start of Jackhammer Strength Training!

Thanks to Faveroo a social marketing coupon site like Groupon I am about to have an awesome fitness business. My deal is 1 month of my boot camp with Jackhammer Strength Training up to four times per week for only $25. That works out to less than a doller seventy per session. So far 68 have been sold. Today I trained the first of the 68 then two more. Also I set up to accept credit card payments and got my logo put on the top of every page of my website. I also learned about some cool new websites where you can have all kinds of stuff done like get 15,000 backlinks to your website for $20.

Exciting times!

Since my last post I have signed up for the most recognized boot camp franchise in the world Fit Body Boot Camp. I now have a mentor who is very successful and is opening up his second location in Powell, Ohio. My location is 1200 Steelwood Rd Grandview, Ohio 43212 right next to The Ohio State University. Tommorow I am having a Faveroo ad which is in conjuction with the 614 magazine. This is like Groupon or Living Social and my ad will go out to a list of over 20,000 people. The deal is 1 month of my boot camp for only $25. If you were to attend 4 times per week for the month that would equate to about $1.56 per session. Meanwhile some personal trainers charge $50 to $80 per session. The coupon is limited to 2 per person and the evening sessions are extremely limited. Also I have limited hours available for personal training at an extremely affordable rate of only $25 per hour. Also my mentor is trying to hook me up with a contract with a major corporate restaurant which has a nutrition part of a wellness program but no resistance training included.

A space to help you reach your goals!

I finally found a space. It is in a good location in Grandview off of Kenny Road. It is close to home, has heat, has bathrooms, utilities are included, has enough space, and has more space if I end up needing more. I need to figure out what color to paint it and what equipment I want to have in place whenI open up in January. Things on my list to include are boxes for box squatting and plyometrics, sand bags, squat racks for squatting, cleaning, deadlifting, and anchoring suspension straps from, medicine balls, weight trees, weight sets, kettle bells, and jump ropes. If you can think of any other necesities please let me know.

Thanks,

Nathan Jordan

To do list and motivation!

I have a lot of things I need to do. These include securing a space to run my boot camps, obtaining equipment for my camps, getting press releases out, posting flyers, placing lead boxes, collecting leads from lead boxes, contacting leads, scheduling camps, planning workouts, placing signs on my car, attending networking events, making contacts with people of influence e.g. hair dressers and Mary Kaye consultants, orderin plastic gift cards, and getting several things to try to resolve certain matters that I do not wish to go into here. I am in a rut here and need some motiation. Does anyone have any good book ideas for motivation?

On a completely unrelated note I feel that I am getting stronger. I benched 265 for an easy 3 reps probably could have gotten5, 285 for a very easy rep today without a spotter and just missed with 305. I know my weaknesses include my shoulders and once I strengthen my shoulders I will be able to get some respectable numbers. I plan on attempting a 20 rep squat program for a little while basically the plan is to do 100 reps with fairly light weights probably 155 pounds for 5 sets of 20 and then add 10 pounds each week. This should up my conditioning level a little bit and help me get used to squatting regularly again. After 6 weeks I should be ready to squat heavy again and hopefully get 405 pounds.

Quic kettlebell workout!

Today's workout consisted of 80 squats with an exercise ball with 20 of those reps holding a 30 # kettlebell, 60 swings with a 20#, 50 clean and presses each arm with a 30#, plank, 30 pushups, an 500 burnouts which are kind of like jumping rope without a rope. This was a quick workout becuase I have some things I want to get done tonight. I went through the first 44 hits on citysearch for gymnastics facilities in the Columbus area and I found 22 that I want to contact and see if I can train bootcamps in their facilities. I will be getting my 25 lead boxes later this week and have 2000 take one postcards which entile the bearer of the card a free week. I need a place to train people as I have 6,000 potential free sessions coming up. I can tain people at OSU facilities and Planet Fitness but need something more permanent. If you have any great ideas for where to put them besides restaurants, clothing stores, movie theaters, movie rental places, chiropractors, massage therapists, hair salons, tanning beds, or doctor's offices who are cosmetic surgeons please let me know. Also if you or anyone you know would like to help me place lead boxes, signs, and flyer in exchange for training let me know.
